"CROSSOVER" was the theme of the bi-annual FOCUS photography festival. Examining how the world is seen today and captured from multiple viewpoints. Mumbai, known for its dynamism and diversity, is fuelled by the intermingling of people from different states, faiths and social structures. The theme therefore celebrated photography’s role in challenging the way we see and understand both the city and the world, not only questioning collective notions of geography and history but also telling the intimate stories of the construction of identity and the exploration of self in today’s age.
